【本站讯】近日，hy590海洋之神平台数学与信息科学学院2007级校友张若冰与浙江大学数学高等研究院教授孙崧合作的题为《Collapsing geometry of hyperkähler 4-manifolds and applications》（四维超凯勒流形的坍缩几何及其应用）的研究成果在国际顶尖数学期刊《Acta Mathematica》上发表。文章对四维超凯勒的流形坍缩几何进行了研究，并证明了该领域内的两个著名猜想，为该领域的一项重大突破。

论文摘要（Abstract）：We investigate the collapsing geometry of hyperkähler 4-manifolds. As applications, we prove the following two well-known conjectures in the field.(1) Any collapsed limit of unit-diameter hyperkähler metrics on the K3 manifold is isometric to one of the following: the quotient of a flat 3-torus by an involution, a singular special Kähler metric on the 2-sphere, or the unit interval.(2) Any complete hyperkähler 4-manifold with finite energy (i.e., gravitational instanton) is asymptotic to a model end at infinity.

据悉，《Acta Mathematica》是全球四大顶尖数学期刊之一，由瑞典皇家科学院Mittag-Leffler研究所于1882年创刊，涵盖数学各领域最高质量的研究论文，季刊，每年2卷，每卷2期，全年共十余篇论文。

张若冰，数学与信息科学学院2007级本科生，烟大首位“校长奖学金”获得者，2011年本科毕业后以全额奖学金被美国普林斯顿大学博士项目录取，师从著名几何学家Alice Chang（张圣容）和Paul Yang，2016年获得普林斯顿大学博士学位。2016年至2020年在纽约州立大学石溪分校（Stony Brook University）从事博士后研究工作，曾在普林斯顿大学任职助理教授，现任美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校助理教授，曾获2023年度世界华人数学家联盟最佳论文奖。主要研究领域为共形几何、度量几何、凯勒几何等，在塌缩流形研究中做出重要成果，文章发表在Acta Mathematica、Journal of the American Mathematical Society、Duke Mathematical Journal、Geometry and Topology、Advances in Mathematics等国际顶级数学期刊。
