内容摘要：

Many biological and geological problems can be modeled as transport in porous media, e.g., gas and oil extraction from petroleum reservoirs and drug delivery to cancer sites. Moreover, the media could be poroelastic and transport is subdiffusive. In this talk, we present results from our on-going efforts for development of efficient and robust numerical solvers for time-fractional convection-diffusion problems and (linear and nonlinear) poroelasticity problems. We pay special attention to positivity-preserving, local mass conservation, free of Poisson-locking, and positivity.

主讲人介绍：

刘江国，美国科罗拉多州立大学数学系教授，博士生导师。2001年获南卡罗来纳大学数学博士学位，2005年加入科罗拉多州立大学，现任SCI期刊Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics的Associate Editor。主要研究方向为多孔介质中输运问题的高效数值方法，药物传递的计算模拟，已在SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, ACS Applied Nano Materials等学术期刊发表论文60余篇，主持多项美国国家自然科学基金。
